In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Sweden showed varied trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of around 4.3K in late October. Active users saw a decline early in the quarter, hitting a low of 85.5K in early November, but rebounded to approximately 91.1K by the end of December.

Uber - Request a ride had a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 3.7K during the Christmas week. Active user numbers also showed growth, peaking at about 69.4K in early December before closing the year at around 66.4K.

Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery saw its weekly downloads gradually increase, reaching 539 by late December. Active users consistently rose throughout the quarter, ending with approximately 15.7K users.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver maintained a stable download rate with minor fluctuations, peaking at 277 downloads in late October. Active users hovered around the 2.8K mark, showing little variation throughout the quarter.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares saw a steady increase in downloads, culminating in 304 downloads at year-end. Active users also grew, reaching nearly 1.9K by the last week of December.
